I've decided everytime the newspaper asks for an opinion, I'm going to work in the LU logo contraversy.

One obviously sarcastic remark has got people commenting on 2 subjects.

Just to let you know, I am "Concerned Citizens". It is always fun to bring up the absurd accusations that have been thrown at Falwell and Liberty from Lynchburg citizens whom still cannot see the GREAT value that Liberty has brought to their community. If the increased traffic and commerce has destroyed Lynchburg, why not blame some bike accidents on the mountain logo?

I love Al's line about "4-wheel death cages". I think that's how I'm going to start referring to my car.
"Time to get to church, honey. I'll be out in the 4-wheel death cage."

This is fun.
So how often are we going to do this? One article a day? Once a week?
It has to keep going.

This is a lot of fun. Nothing like mocking the citizenry of the 'burg.

I was about to do it again but theres something wrong with the website. Let's do it with the "lakeside expansion story" saying things like I bet the Monogram made the land value go down b/c every where you look you see that durn monogram! LOL

nobody else comments on those though. I was gonna wait until they put up another "comment on this" article.

OK...who's the wise guy?

I love the LU monogram, but on a sunny day, the glare off of it is blinding: there's no wonder bikers are being killed all over Lynchburg, because drivers are distracted by that shiny LU monogram. We need more trees planted to shade the monogram, preferably weeping willow trees or magnolias.

I'm guessing the "C" may stand for Cider.

this has definatly turned into a fun game. We'll have to keep an eye out for the next "readers react" section. Now that I see we have some players, I'll have to step up my psuedonym game.

yeah, but only like 2 people comment on it at the most. It's only fun if we can get other riled up.

Yeah, everyone comments on the ones where they ask for it. Mostly because all the old folks want their comment printed in the paper. It amazes me that in this age of technology we live in, people still write letters in hopes of having them printed.
