Don't know if this has already been posted.
Thanks guys for all the laughs and tears you've provided me all week.
We've lost a great man, but God has bigger plans for him now!

From the sound of everything I've heard and now that article, it sounds like it will be a very appropriate burial.

Very fitting! I'm glad to also see the "eternal flame"... it's very significant in many ways!

The Rev. Jerry Falwell will be buried on the grounds of the old Carter Glass mansion on the Liberty University campus and his grave site will include an eternal flame.

the way it was described in the article i would call it behind the mansion, because they said it is overlooking the baseball field. when you drive on the little road falling of the mountain, when you go by the baseball field you can see the back of the mansion. i think its up there

I was thinking that is probably where he would have wanted to be buried. I can't believe he didn't atleast put up a fight for the 50 yard line, though.

I believe he will be buried on the same site or close to where BR Lakin is buried. I know BR is buried near the Chapel there by the mansion.

Correct. It will be the opposite side of the building on the Mansion "lawn", looking down toward the baseball field.

The "Car-less Drive-In" side.

If you go to the front of the mansion where the main entrance is, you will see 4 little orange flags in the front lawn, which I suppose is marking where the grave will be. It's in the sunlight, but not too far from the big trees, and it overlooks both the baseball field and the old practice football field, and gives you a great view of the mountains in the distance.
