The big question is, will they take the name "B.R. Lakin" away and just call in the Towns/Alumni Center?
Old B.R. is buried on campus by the prayer chapel, and he won't want him getting angry and scaring people.

What kind of alumni is not at work at 2pm? A jobless one. We don't want them loafing around.

(Great to see that Andy Barrick was there)
still confused about the layout here- seems now they're building all AROUND the existing structure- not just extending it.

Construction begins on Towns Center
by Amy Field, Asst. News Editor
... The classroom, which will seat 900 students, will be an addition onto the B.R. Lakin School of Religion and will be built along with a facelift for the present structure.
A rendering of the improved building shows columns and white steps being added to match those of DeMoss Hall and Thomas Road Baptist Church.
Previous plans had placed the new classroom on the south side of the School of Religion, reaching down to the Liberty Bell gazebo. However, because of the need for parking, the plans were changed to build the training center behind the school, next to Highway 460.
Additionally, another new room will be added on the religion hall, called the Hall of Ministry. A round, octagonal room with murals of founder Dr. Jerry Falwell and the old Thomas Road Baptist Church will serve as a classroom and commemorate the beginnings of Liberty University.

At midnight on a Sunday evening, Medic sits around reading the Champion. I, on the other hand, only read the Champion when it's been left behind in the bathroom. Just thought I'd point that out.

I. Am. So. Jealous.
Any place that has 24/7 operations needs a bunkroom. It should be a law. Someone talk to my boss, please.

Somewhere in here I just passed the 1,800 post mark. Minor milestone. The celebration consisted of 3 Nibs crackers and a glass of water.

I don't know if this has ever been posted anywhere else but I was just browsing around on the LU website and saw a picture of what it should look like and I hadn't seen it before. Really it's just the background of some banners.
