This is what happens when A-Trains get bored on really nice, sunny, warm, days...we hike to radar stations and take pictures:

Just think what you could take pictures of if you went to a secular school....

ATRAIN, seeings as you're so bored- why don't you try to get some shots of that FB ops center?

You mean the BLACK HOLE? Seriously, they have four basement walls up and just coated them in the black sealant. Nothing but a black hole right now.

thats what confuses me. I have pix that I took in Jan when I came down for the hockey game that showed just about that amount of progress, yet I'm hearing all this talk about the ops center being ready in July?
just seems a weeeee optimistic, but thats the cynic in me, I guess.

Thanks for saving me a trip over there. I almost went by today to check on the progress...aka lack thereof...on the place. Sometimes I wonder if July 2 for the church is optimistic. I hope the Ops place is done before the start of the season.

Well considering what happened to me while I was taking those pics, I think I'll stay away from fenced in areas for a while...(don't worry BJ, I'm not posting the story on here)

here's a tip- avoid getting too close to federal installations.
unless you enjoy being tasered- or worse.

I thought that was in between the 460 ramps near the Sleep Inn (other side of the road)

It was something far worse than being tasered...well, at least from the standpoint of a human conscience.
However, the WSET is up there, but I didn't really see it.

WSET's cam is mounted on one of the radar towers. On a stormy/foggy day, they will inevitably point it down where you can see the red lights on the tower. I wish they'd upgrade that cam to a higher quality one.
Actually, I wish LU would put their own cams up. Hmm. Guess I should mention that to someone.

Frankly ATrain, after hearing what happened to you, I would have rather you not posted the story on here. Although be glad that they didn't arrest you for trespassing

That's not what I meant, at all. I feel like I should take issue with what I think is being insinuated, but since I can't be certain, I won't.
