What additional restaurant does Lynchburg need? I'd be curious to see how many more restaurants Lynchburg could possibly hold.

Moe's and/or that other southwester/TexMex place that I've never eaten at and can't remember the name of.

I voted for Chilis...my wife's fave...
...I am sure others would rather see a Boston Market since that is different from what we already have in town.

Being a Chicago boy, I was expecting something different from you.
As for White Castle, when the umpteenth family member was sent to the ER following one of their burgers I swore off the stuff.
If I were picking a chain for Lynchburg, it would be Freebirds.

Moe's generally fits into a shopping center so it wouldn't be hard for them to come in. They don't take a stand alone building like most places.

not anymore. if there is one still here it would be located on Fort ave across from advance auto parts (around the wards rd area).

moe's hot wings is what you are thinking of...which i think are the best wings in town...though i think the one downtown has closed down....the one on Timberlake is still open though
I love Chile's....I was saying the other day I wanted to eat there.....

There were 2 Shoney's that I can think of. Fort/Ward's just above the Fort Hill Plaza (now in its umpteenth reincarnation as a generic Mexican restaurant) and the location on Langhorne across from Lynchburg General (tried to be different cafeteria-style joints for a while, but now abandoned I think).
I can't think of White Castle anymore w/o the names Harold and Kumar attached to it.

if i was going for a chicago resturaunt i would prefer Ginos East, but in lynchburg id settle for giardanos or Unos even, i miss me some true pan pizza. Chilis, i like their chicken fingers, but id rather have other resturaunts where i like more than two items. And as far as white castle, i used to get sick all the time, then i started ordering them with out onions, and that actually solves the problem for the most part

I voted Chili's for two reasons:
1. To complete the restaurant genre that includes Applebee's and Ruby Tuesday
2. Because it's the best of the three.
Otherwise, I'm all about Moe's, Chipotle, Qdoba or Baja Fresh.
Jimmy John's would be a welcome addition too.
Although it will never advance past wishful thinking, I'll also throw In N Out Burger out there too.

I voted for Boston Market simply because I've always wanted one here.
Although, I as I said before, I would prefer a Moe's Southwest Grill. It has more votes in the comments than Boston Market does in the poll.
My wife would love Chili's. One was supposed to open on Wards Rd. between Panera and Chick Fil A, but something fell through there and now we're getting another Sheetz instead.

I'm quite Friendly's-d out by now, but my kids love it.
Boston Market is good for those of us that eat outta the front seat of a Ford E350 most of the time- relatively cheap, good food and fast(ish)
but they all but gone away up here.
