That's putting it nicely. Yea Tim Lee has to be the worst choice for any leadership position.

Those 2 comments are totally uncalled for. Hopefully board monitor will delete both.

I wasn’t sure @TH Spangler knew that Lee couldn’t wear skinny pants. Regardless, I can see how it’s insensitive to call attention to. Removing.

I guess this is all part of some vast conspiracy.

Declaring survivors of assault are part of a conspiracy is a new low even for Prevo. Jr tried the conspiracy theory angle and it did not work out well for him.

Yeah, well Liberty's lawyers are cut from the same cloth as Jr so it's really no surprise.

This is sickening. Jerry Prevo, Tim Lee and the rest of the board... pathetic men and women who have no backbone.

The playbook of charlatans. Everybody is out to get me, so you should rally around me and only listen to me. Ignore what your eyes and reason are telling you. I will tell you who is good and bad and there is no in between. Just as absurd as when Hillary Clinton claimed there was a vast right-wing conspiracy.

Take a deep breath fellas. Try to relax. You'll be fine. I hear they're opening up a fundamentalists anonymous chapter in Lynchburg soon.

My take on the conspiracy charge is that it’s a lot narrower than it’s been made out to be. It seems to me that they are saying the lawyer for the Jane Doe case and Scott Lamb conspired to have Lamb turn over sensitive documents, not that the Jane Does are conspiring against Liberty.

Now, it seems like the LU lawyers didn’t do any due diligence to find out if this is true or not. Also, it’s pretty weak sauce to say “we think you got sensitive documents that would incriminate us, but you got them unfairly, so you’re the real bad guys.”

Conspiracy thoughts came to mind, when I first heard of the lawsuit. Reason being, the amount of time between when allegations took place and the filing of lawsuit.

Are you saying you believe the women are lying? Or are you saying their motivation is to conspire against the university? Or both? Or something else?

Sad news today. It seems like the university is handling this one well, though.

This is very sad. I actually know Bill Atwell. He's very involved in the deaf community in the region. Everyone really loves the guy, but this is tragic for the victim as well as his family. The Atwell's son was arrested not too long ago on child porn charges. This family, their church, and the wider deaf community is really broken up about all this right now.

Lynchburg PD is saying that LUPD is handling this case, which is interesting. Complaints are being made that LU didn't send out any notification of the arrest, which makes sense. I get UVA notifications all the time when a crime happens on campus. They're usually light on details, but at least you know what's going on.

On the one hand, I don’t want them to not do the gestures. On the other hand, it’s hard not to think they think the gestures are enough.

Since the dawning of "nice racism" and "woke racism," there is no longer a defense that works against the accusation. Simply, apologize and obey. You are necessarily a racist.

There is a defense for homophobia accusations that's still effective in certain states. It's called the Hank Hill defense. "Homophobic? No, I sell propane."

Gaycism is the one that you tend to hear little about. And yes, it still goes on. If you ever get accused of that, simply appeal to your love for Bon Jovi & their entire music catalogue.

Lastly, there's a very astute man with a UVA law degree that was working on an Islamaphobe accusation defense. It goes something like this: we could end those...
