Bedford Sheriff

Someone has made a nice pile of cash printing signs and billboards for the people running for Bedford County Sheriff. I have to drive between Lynchburg and Roanoke about every day. Lost count of how many yard signs are out and about. Has to be equal or greater than the 2016 election
I don’t care who wins but I know who I want to lose. But I live in Campbell county so have no vote. But will be glad to see all the signs gone

The one who physically and emotionally abuses their ex wives but not before they commit identity fraud. Too bad he’s touting the LU degree considering he put people down who had a college degree let alone a Masters. And if it was from LU that just added an extra layer of scorn. As my late mother in law said “a leopard doesn’t change its spots”

I think I have put 2 and 2 together.

Why come right out and say it when we can play 20 questions?

It’s more fun this way! We are just hopeful that after June 11 his billboards and signs come down and that will be the end of it

Well, I have to vote for one of them but don't know anything about any of them.

I believe there are 4 running on the Republican Side. Miller, Robey and Wells have signs up. I have seen no signs for Kirkland Hayden is running on the Democrat side.
Miller has been Mike Browns right hand man for years. Came up through the ranks
Wells has been over in Roanoke for awhile

I saw a sign of one, who appears he has spent a lot of time in the doughnut shop.

A retired MP is making policeman jokes? Come on, Ballcoach, you are better than that.

Ballcoach and PH seem oddly concerned about who the next sheriff will be

Doughnut jokes are part of law enforcement.
But here's a true story:
At Fort Leonard Wood , Missouri in late 70s, the doughnut delivery truck would drop off a dozen at the Main gate for the MPs. One day, some MP wrote him a speeding ticket. He never dropped off anymore doughnuts at the gate.

There’s also a primary in Botetourt County too as well. You should see all the campaign literature my parents have collected in the last three months

I know none of them and do not live in Bedford County, but I hope the best candidate wins, whoever he might be.

I'm guessing he's talking about Kent Robey? That's the only one that matches his description that I know of.

Gosh, that name Robey sounds so familiar. For old local sports fans, wasn't there a prolific girls basketball coach from the Lynchburg area with that same last name?
