JLFJR is highly skilled in business, law, and finances, and even though he can be a clutz on Twitter and say eyebrow-raising things at the podium, that OAN video and last week's crowd greet at the stadium show he can be savvy at public relations, at least to the conservative base, and he never cowers to the leftists. For all that, I like him. But under his watch, LU’s identity is more secular and less conservative; academic programs are more expansive but less rigorous and enriching; the growing, gilded campus has amazing facilities but underpaid employees; and the faculty are far busier but have less autonomy and job security. Now they are forbidden to make contact with Human Resources for any reason, except when asked to sign an NDA after non-renewal letters arrive at their homes in June. What in the…? Never mind. I shouldn’t be saying anything.
