From where I sit, it is abundantly clear, that Jr. is in politics for Jr. Sr. was in the arena for the right reasons. Sr. was already a national figure, he didn't personally need the publicity or the attention. He was secure in himself before he founded the MM. He was more concerned about the well-being of the country and less about an ego trip. IMHO.

I like Varney
As for a Romney as Dem VP? Never happen. He’s the guy the media eviscerated when he ran against Obama. He’s a media darling like McCain used to be because he’s against who they are against. That in no way means the like or support him.
The way Klobuchar has surged I’m thinking she’s the solid VP choice. It will balance out the Dem nominee craziness positions (Mayor Pete). At least she said she was afraid of what socialism would do to America

Breaking: Man with zero charisma steals others' joke and makes it terribly unfunny. Thoughtless double-down to follow.

This next chapter of Jr. being a jerk shows many things but one thing is certainly true, he has no one to stand up and speak truth to power. That's not a good thing for any leader.

(I see "jerk" was inserted for my biblical word for donkey. :D )

Well, his dad ran the place, his sister is a Doctor and his brother is a Pastor. He’s a lawyer who kept his dad out of some legal pot holes. You don’t need to be charismatic to do that.

I love the 1st amendment and am not a Democrat. I know you're joking but give me a break. To me, this has nothing to do with tjhe govenor of Virginia. It is tone deaf and in extremely poor taste. Whether he likes it or not (I know he hates it) he is the leader of one of the largest Christian universities in the world and should not hang out in the gutter of discourse.

I'm use to it and barely batted an eye when i first saw it because this is the norm with him. It shouldn't be.

He has every Right to Tweet that. I have every Right to think it was a dick move. It’s how the 1st Amendment works. He can say it, I don’t have to agree with it. ‘Merica

He has every right to tweet it, but he has a responsibility not to. The mantle of leadership - especially Christian leadership - requires you to give up some of your rights in order to fulfill the duties of the position.

Plus that thing Paul said about not offending your brother.

I absolutely agree. It’s one thing if you or I Tweeted something like that and another if the President of the Worlds largest Evangelical University does

It's something that gets shared in a group chat of like-minded friends. Not on Twitter. I call the governor Clayton Bigsby in my group chats. His behavior was unacceptable and he should be called out for it.

I think more prudent would have been one of Northams selfies in VA Beach this past weekend.

I think most are ready for Jr to give the helm to someone else. I wish I donated enough money to sway that decision.
