well that all depends...really a final decision hasn't been made yet on what route they are going to go...high rise just doesnt seem logical at this point, but it's still possible

I imagine it's hard to get paper mache and popsickle sticks to go over 3 floors. Quite understandable.

well maybe this will affect the decision to turn Liberty Village into Liberty Ridge? Like maybe they won't do that? I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I can't imagine it being a high-rise.

The housing fee is already rising for next year though, so it's still possible.

yeah i am definatly going to be trying to move off campus next year, i also heard they might lower the age to 20 to move off campus?

you wont have to beg to get off campus thats for sure...if you are 20 that is

Especially if you're a guy. The guy's dorms are so crowded right now.

Actually, that's a myth. They were crowded at the beginning of the semester but that has worked itself out. You will not get approved to move off if you're 20. I'm pretty positive about that.

And no, the age to move off isn't changing.

From what I heard they made a temporary exemption for those under 21 because there were at one point literally no open beds in ANY of the guys dorms (including the new ones on East Campus)

That was at the beginning of the semester. However, with the growing student population more and more students are going to have to live off campus.

What was the rule yrs. ago? I moved off campus jr yr.-still 20yr.old- to share rent w/ a senior(?) but went home for a semester due to finances. It was just as well- she was a pain in the tush. For example, I wasnt suppose to have a bottle of perfume on the old dresser IN CASE it spilled... ....

i know a bunch of people that moved off before turning 21. that was before the overpopulation thing

I'm 20 and I lived off. I was 19 and lived off campus. I was given permission though.

There are a few ways to get off campus is you're "under age." Mine was a legit reason, but I know plenty of people underage who are off.

is not wanting to go to hall meeting a legit reason? completely kidding i wouldnt try that, but what would the dean of men do if i said that was wy i wanted to move off?

TD if your looking for it to be written in the hand book then you wont find it...simply b/c it's not there...thats why I said you wont have to beg, not it's a rule and they have to let you off

bottom line is with the situation the way it is right now if you have less then a million reps (i hope you caught the exaggeration) then it wont take much work, 19 is really kinda pushing it but 20 really isnt

PA, nice one lol

back to the topic...there should be a decision made shortly
