The Governor is coming to Lynchburg tomorrow for an economic development announcement. Could we be getting a new Burger King ?

And this article that coincides with the previous one.

Maybe he is announcing that Areva will be Framatome again (oh...that happened a while ago) and that he is giving them some money to promote the new name.

McAuliffe became pretty familiar with making "fluff" announcements in our area. Loved the time that he worked a deal to "create" jobs by giving grants to a company that bought out Diebold and rehired all their staff at wages lower than Diebold paid. Or announcing a grant to a company to open a brewery in downtown Lynchburg- money that was then spent to open up a brewery in Richmond. Or that great Appomattox Lindenburg deal!

Hopefully Northam vets his deals more thoroughly.

Well, I haven't made a final judgement on Northam; I really don't think he will be as bad as ol' Terry.

It's politics 101.
I don't think it is exclusive to a certain President OR party.

One and the same.

My guess is that it has something to do with Framatome opening a restaurant. This is Lynchburg right?
I don't know why there isn't a "Nuclear" sub shop on OFR yet.

The Yellow Sub doesn't meet that criteria? If you haven't ordered a sub sinker you're missing out.

I was referring to the name. But yeah I worked for Areva on Mt Athos for several years and they had a Yellow sub satellite kitchen there. Good food for sure, especially breakfast.
