I was surprised and disappointed to see this. That seems to be good location and it was nice seeing all the LU and local memorabilia inside. We used to eat there a lot back in college when it first opened up back in the early 2000s

They're closing a bunch of stores nationwide.

One of the best salad bars out there. Thought they would be doing well.

A deaf friend of mine worked the salad bar there before they passed away a few years ago

Should I feel bad that I thought this chain died years ago?

It's been a long time since I've been to one. The last time I went it was one of the worst dining experiences of my life.

They used to have a solid salad bar back in the day, but they retooled the menu several years ago and the salad bar went way downhill.

Their salad dressings used to be great. Near the end they were awful

But, honestly, I would love to see a Friendly's in Lynchburg. The town I grew up in had more Friendly's locations than McDonalds (and we had our fair share of McDonalds).

I'd like to see a Burger King go there. Then I not have to go the Campbell Avenue or Timberlake Road.

Yes, my 2nd favorite place in Lynchburg. Country Cookin is number 1, Cracker Barrel #3.

Sounds like you keep the local toilet paper manufacturers in business.
