Before I went to LCA, I attended school in Appomattox. My mom still works for the social services department there, and my dad drives through there going to/from work everyday. I also know several people in the Evergreen area. Thank God they're all ok:

Yep. It was pretty close to where I live. Amazing how the Community is coming together to help people in need. Wal Mart emptied out their ice and water. Papa Johns on Timberlake even gave 20 pizzas (and 20 1/2 price pizzas) to the workers in the area
Loss of life was 1 but losses of what people had in life was huge

We had lots of limbs etc but missed us. Our church is doing stuff. The Chick Fil A owner owns land by us and he also was donating food so he's being a good neighbor
