Selling drugs on campus, b/c they're cool. I feel like we discussed his arrest on this board, but I can't seem to find the thread.

He should have gotten 10 years.

I think I agree with Ballcoach. Selling illegal drugs is a big deal... For someone that has lost two siblings to drugs - I know it all started with this drug everyone thinks is so innocent...

10 months for selling drugs is not a lot of time to serve for selling anything illegal, IMO.

I am more concerned about the prescription drugs he was handing out then the pot.

I think it's far more important to go after the dealers than it is the users.

10 years for being a small-time drug dealer? Asinine nonsense like that is the biggest reason for prison overpopulation. Turning many people that aren't the least bit of a threat to society into hardened criminals with no nearly no recourse but to go back into the life of crime just to survive when they are released.

I'd say 10 months is about right.

Good point. I rescind the last portion of my rant.

The roughly 2 years of college I have is in Criminal Justice Courses. Plus I have 3 Police Academy Diplomas.
