Liberty University has announced the selection of B. Keith Faulkner as the new dean of Liberty University School of Law. Faulkner will assume the position on Oct. 1, after more than 10 years at Campbell University, where he served in senior leadership at Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law.
Faulkner holds his J.D. and M.B.A. from Campbell and his B.S. in business administration from Charleston Southern University. Prior to joining Campbell, Faulkner was a litigation associate for a law firm in Wilmington, North Carolina, and a partner in a private practice. He served for eight years in the U.S. Navy as a submariner, nuclear power plant operator, and instructor in the Nuclear Power Training Pipeline.

I believe that the School of Law is at a very critical time in its history. Solid leadership is needed immediately and given the exhaustive nature of the search process, I think LU supporters can rest assured that Dean Faulkner is the right man for the job.

Welcome Dean Faulkner. God bless.
