LU Safety Alert from LUPD

To all students, faculty, and staff:
A male of Hispanic appearance in a blue car accosted a female student today, October 11th, 2006, on campus and tried to forcibly place her in his car. The female student broke free and the individual apparently left campus, but please be on the alert for anyone making any such approaches or offering a ride. Please contact Liberty University Police Department (LUPD) at 592-3911 if you have information, questions or concerns.

whoa....thats crazy....thank God she is alright...lets see if LUPD can do some real police work for a change

I have a great attitude....sorry if the truth comes off as having a bad attitude....I wouldn't of stayed here as long as I have if I didn't like it...

Give LUPD some credit. They have scheduled a press conference for tomorrow to announce a break in the Lindbergh baby's kidnapping.

Not a good situation at all. We shoiuld praise God that this wackjob was not successful in his attempt, and pray for this young lady.
