New Microtel opened in the last week on Seminole drive where the old Ham's restaurant was.

La Quinta Inn across the street from River Ridge Mall (formerly known as University Inn), I stayed there with my parents the day before move-in. 100% pet-friendly, freshly refurbished rooms, and a pool we didn't use. My parents have found a place to stay when they come to visit for the next four years.

Man I miss that place. Love the Kickin Chicken sandwich. Maybe we need a Land of the Lost category?

Stayed at the Kirkley for about a week one time, when it was first renovated, and it was a bargain then. Don't know about now. Hard to beat Craddock Terry. You get breakfast in a shoe box. Better than it sounds.

Craddock Terry Hotel. What other venues can you get room service from quality restaurants such as Shoemakers and Waterstone?

The school-owned Wingate (Soon to be Fairfield) holds the Craddock Terry & HGI. Plenty of new contenders are opening up to make this tougher in 2015.
