I have a list of places to try as soon as I get in town that seems to get longer by the week: Zaxby's, Astoro, Fox's Pizza Den, Big Lick Tropical Grill, Cook-Out, Macado's, Bojangle's and a few places I HAVE been to before, B-Dubs, Ledo's and of course Chick-Fil-A.

Ate at the Canopy Food Truck on Main St. today. Maybe it's built into their prices, but they didn't seem to charge me any tax. Great food, by the way.

There are way more food options downtown during the day than most people realize.

Proto, what ever happened to that burger joint you were going to open downtown?

I'm ready to spend some money! Just had to go to Cville to get Citizen Burger, but would rather give money to Proto. Considering time and gas, I assume I'll spend less, even with the meals tax.

Did you find that 'apple juice' there?

How does this restaurant week thing work BTW?

Some restaurants will do specials for each day, but it's really just an "awareness" week, like a buy-local campaign.

It's been slow going, but we hope to have it open by 2015, maybe a little sooner. Should finally start seeing some movement on construction very soon:)

I will give Lynchburg credit - The Bluffwalk is looking pretty amazing down there. I think it might have been worth the wait.
