I'm not sure where this question should go so if it needs to be moved to another section please don't hesitate. I graduated in 2013 from LU's MAML program and am considering getting a class ring. I'm from Texas and they are kinda a big deal there. Good way to network by starting up a conversation when someone asks about it.

My question is can anyone post pics of their class ring? I am thinking about getting a signet style one but Herff Jones has been worthless with providing me pics. I also FB'ed the LU Alum page and haven't received a reply yet. So I figure if I'm going to find a pic it will be from flamesfans.

First off, I am glad to see you made it over here. And I seeing Georgetown in your location has me hunkering for some pie from Monument Cafe. Next to Round Rock donuts, it was one of my favorite things of living in Williamson County back in the day.

I'm no help on the ring other than moving it to the Lynchburg Life board. I can tell you that the LU Alumni folks drop by the board from time to time.

Sly's right...HMO comes through from time to time and he is head honcho over in the alumni office so maybe he could point you in the right direction (Hold My Own for the record)

So basically this post was to tell us about restaurants in Texas.

If you knew how strong the restaurants in Central Texas really are then you would join the conversation.

Why are you slumming it in the H-town area The hill country is where I would want to be. That or any income tax free state...LOL. I've only ate at Monument a couple times so far, great food.

I sure hope one of these many alum on this board can post a pic or something. I'm not sure if VA is big on class rings but it seems to be more of a southern thing.

It nearly broke our heart to move from Round Rock to Houston over a decade ago. Everyone told us we were headed the wrong direction. We certainly hope we wind up back in Central Texas someday if we are not landing in Central Virginia.

I'm a male. But all I really wanting to see is what the LU seal looks like on a signet style ring. It would be the same on a male or females. If it's not too much trouble I would love to see pics of hers.

Very true. My first name is Christopher but I prefer Chris but my last name (Curtis) could be a first name too. But who knows if I'm really a polar bear with internet access.

I got my class ring when I graduated. Herff-Jones did the rings when i was in school. I'm sure they'd be able to do one.

I am aware Herff Jones (HJ) does LU's class rings using them to make one isn't the issue. The issue I am having is I don't have a pic of a real one. I called HJ and they didn't have pics they could email me. If you don't mind I would like to see a pic of yours if its signet style.

There's no seal on it. It doesn't have anything on it but text and some little diamonds.

I just got some info from Herff Jones on the current design of LU's ring. It's just a sketch from the ring plant. All the signet rings will be a variation of this.

Top and side of ring. Other side of ring is your degree.

Please do!!! I have a sketch of it but I really want to know what it looks like in person/candied pic. I'm thinking it's pretty nice but it could easily be a big blog of crap stuffed onto a small ring.

Thank you for the pics!! When I get mine I will be sure and post pics of it. I've looked all over the internet and no pics of this exist except in this thread.

Do you wear it everyday? Or was it one of those "thought it was a good idea at the time" purchases?
