I know we have a lot of you types on this board who currently probably have better jobs. But this seems like a real job. Benefited Salary and everything. I haven't really ever seen anything like this come up before. It seems like they just usually go get somebody they already have in mind.

Talked to my old boss at Liberty and he said they are looking for a real heavy hitter (like top 5 to top 10 market level) with significant experience.

And that may be the case here as well. Sometimes Jobs are advertized simply as a matter of protocol when they already know who they want. On the other hand, the ¨Voice of the Flames¨ job seems to have been a genuinely open competitive application process, and I don´t even know that York was on our radar screen prior to his applying.
