OK, so it is about the time each summer when we start up the voting once again. But I need your help. Please let me know which of our past candidates have closed and what new contenders do we need to add to the ballots. It seemed like there were some new additions this past fall when I visited. Please help a brother out.

Sadly, the place real coffee lovers always voted for, The Whitehart, is closed. In its place, is Blackwater Coffee. Same roaster and owner, but not the same.

Wasabi opened. Hill City House is brand new. Anybody been yet? I guess it is in the finer dining category.
Delicia's is new - central American food I think.

So I had heard. I just figured that with one closing that there was still a Vinny's up for the vote.

I understood your motivation... I just didn't want anyone to think the BAD one that closed was related to the GOOD one still open.

I thought it was funny that when the one on wards opened that the one on timberlake had a sign up saying that they were not affiliated. Hah! They just wish they were.

Yes, that's the place. There was a big write up about it in the Lynchburg paper a few weeks ago. Sounds like Purple's kind of meals.

Is Knockout Burger new this year? I rarely go to the food court when I go to the mall but stopped by today and got a bacon cheeseburger with some fries. The burger and fries were good, nothing special, but you can get cheese sauce with your fries and that was money.

Hey, kids eat free on Sundays. Even with mediocre 'cue, that is enough to entice to drop by from time to time.
