I don't think you read the story. This does happen at other schools, but it is not common. If you don't want to read it, I'll help you out. It's not talking about students with a tripod, iPhone, headset and an internet connection.

Ive worked with the student productions...this is definitely not just a couple kids with nothing to do on a Saturday night than sit in their dorm...these kids probably could get a production job for a sports network or tv station right out of college

I've seen a lot of their work and compared that to some of the other student run productions I have seen other athletic departments have streaming on their sites and Liberty surpasses those. I am not saying they are the best but to dismiss it because a lot of other schools are doing it is just kind of ignorant, but I am fairly sure he was just trolling
