Got anything to back that up? The only Catholic church I can think of off hand is Holy Cross near downtown but that also strikes me as odd

I could be wrong but I think he's being facetious.

It shouldn't be a surprise that once again, he missed obvious sarcasm.

We had a Mormon last year. I mean why not? We need to reach out to the Latin/Argentine demographic. Unless RG is upset he didn't get the nod.......

Remember that time the media was so "confused" when Obama gave the pitch for Chicago to hold the next Summer Olympics and he failed?

I found it ridiculous (maybe ironic, if that fits) how ad nauseum and anxious the papal election coverage was by a media who will immediately mock, marginalize, and hate the new pope. I mean, serioulsy, they hype this up so much only to turn around and tell us for the next 20 years how irrelevant this guy is.

Or how the Catholic Church hates gays, hates abortion and perpetuates AIDS by its stance on birth control. It's already started. They are 'disappointed' that the Church didn't elect someone who would change all of those things by early next week.

Beat me to it.
Its the perpetual question in today's journalism: should ratings drive content, or should content drive ratings?

Hahaha, you funny man!
Not sure, honestly. But it was big enough news on campus that campus-wide emails were flying around all day about it. they threw something akin to a game watch in one of the student lounges for his first appearance and blessing. Thankfully, we were in Connecticut at the time.

There are a lot of Catholics in Hamden. I bet you would have won your semifinal if you had run out to grey smoke!

As it was, we gave #1 all they could handle. Up 9 in second half. But turnovers cost us down the stretch.
