Sedalia Bluegrass Festival

For any bluegrass lovers in the Lynchburg area, this weekend's bluegrass festival is always the highlight of my summer: Thursday-Saturday, with camping. It's kind of the bluegrass version of Woodstock.

The Summer Solstice, that heavenly event which marks the beginning of summer and brings with it the longest days of the year, coincides this year with the 16th annual three-day Bluegrass Festival at the Sedalia Center. 2012 marks the 2nd 'Doc' McCabe Memorial event. Start your summer the way you want to, by joining the celebration of southern music in the foothills of the mountains where it was born.
