This continues to be a frustrating category year in and year out. With few real competitors, Buffalo Wild Wings seem to win by default most years.

Rivermont would be well served to offer wings outside of football season. They've got some of the better sauce/rub recipes in town. Then again, it limits my wing consumption to the fall and early winter, so that's not a bad thing.

Because it's too much work for little pieces of deep-fried meat. Much rather have the chicken breast or the full-size drumstick.

A new wings restaurant is opening up in that location on Fort Ave where restaurants go to die--it was a Golden Coral in the 1980s and was more recently a bikers' bar (across from the Crown).

For years I've heard that place was gonna be a Hooters!

Wasn't it a Chinese buffet for awhile? I'd be curious to hear whether or not the wings are any good.

Ledo's and Macadoo's should be on this list. Both have great wings. Too bad there isn't a Hooter's in town... IMO way better than BW's

Good call on Macados and their wings. Heck the frozen one I buy at SAMs and cook in the oven at home are better then Buffalo Wild Wings

Quaker Steak and Lube or Wild Wing Cafe are the best chains for wings. They really show how terrible BWW is.

Maybe all it needs is some good strong competition on Wards Road. We have a couple Wild Wing Cafe locations back home and BWW so Im sure both could coexist here and maybe push each other too

There are tons of these chains. BW3 has always based its business success on creating a certain environment. The wings themselves aren't the driving factor. From a business standpoint, perhaps they ought to re-evaluate their priorities to meet the new challenges of 2012. They need to pull a Dominos and reassess their product for a complete makeover.

Quaker Steak & Lube has followed the BW3 mindset and simply had better product on the table. That's why they continue to explode.

Much like their customers after eating their atomic wings!

BWW is probably the worst in the wings industry. The appeal in Lynchburg is that there are a lack of choices. Moe's is easily the best, but doesn't do the chain deal BWW does.

ugh...their wings are terrible. I was hoping that the reason they have stayed in business for so long went much deeper then the waitresses uniforms, but was disappointed to find out quite the opposite.

Moe's was great when I was in town...now I have experienced Wings Gone Wild here in Tampa and no wings I have ever had can even compare..

Thank you for adding that to my list. I live maybe 5 minutes from there - will be going this week!

You probably could find a place that tops everything in Lynchburg across a 1.5 mile radius there.

Hello Square One burgers

The service is awful, but the wings are fantastic...

Have you been to Burger Monger?? Its up in the Carolwood area on North Dale Mabry...fantastic burgers and fries. Its kobe beef so its a bit pricey, but I love it

Once again, Buffalo Wild Wings wins practically by default
