Where do you grub on comida con mucho gusto? With Pueblo Viejo gone, the options are even more limited. But La Carreta has ruled this category for years.

Liked El Mariachi downtown OK, but will go with La Caretta of the ones I've tried. Worst one I've been to is El Cabritos. Where is Fiesta Tapatia?

Been going to El Cabrito's since I was a kid. Their style is more flavor, less hot unless you specifically request it. I love their tacos.

That said, I still believe the Doritos Locos Taco - despite its brittle nature and preponderance to breaking - is one of the five greatest culinary inventions of my lifetime.

JK37 - Do you remember the old El Cabrito claymation commercials? Those were a blast to make.

Sly, unfortunately, no I don't remember. Maybe I'm too young?

Watch it, CJ. I guess it is true though. That's what happens when the family is from Rustburg and Brookneal: a visit to El Cabrito's is BIG TIMIN'!

What happened to Pueblo Viejo. We destroyed that place and the rancherito special for like 6 years straight.
