Where do you find the best barbecue in the area? If you've found a new place, please share so we can diversify the options. Last year, Dickeys & Pok-E-Joes came out on top.

There's an Old Forest BBQ over on Old Forest Rd, but I've never been there. Anyone tried it?

No. I'm thinking about hitting it Thursday. There also is a BBQ wagon at the Habitat for Humanity store I haven't tried.
Ranch Road has the best sides and it's not even close. I love their cream corn. Mmmmm

Hey Purple, I think the creamed corn has changed at Ranch Road. Didn't the corn used to be roasted? I got some a few weeks ago and it wasn't. Didn't think it was as good as it used to be. And it was great creamed corn. Haven't tried Poke E Joes in a long while. Still like Ranch Road's brisket. But going with a standard Silver Pig chopped sandwich on this one in honor of the fine one I had a couple of weeks ago passing through Madison Heights.

I dunno but wouldn't surprise me. But that's what made it great. I hate Silver Pig and never understood the attraction.
The BEST BBQ is in Danville. Checkered Pig.

Tried Silver Pig once, they gave me no reason to go back, ever.

Maybe I hit a good day, or was starving.

Dickeys with the victory. Is Dickeys somehow better in Lynchburg than the subpar plates they serve up here in Texas?
