I know I'm weird, but I went to the Chipotle in Roanoke and honestly it's something I could live without. Way overpriced.

Freebirds knock-off ... but they are worse burrito chains.

It's the top of the non-regional burrito food chain. It is on the pricey side but it tastes better than Moe's, Qdoba, Baja Fresh, etc. They really should give you free chips like Moe's though.

I included the non-regional caveat so we don't have to hear all about how great Texas is.

edit: AAHH I'm too late

Try Freeb!rds (Texas, Oklahoma & California) or Bullritos (Texas, Louisiana & Georgia) and come back to me bragging up Chipotle.

The fact that McDonalds drove this chain to success should explain its authenticity and quality.

I love Texas. Texas is the best (only) state in the US. The best of everything, came from Texas.

Not everything, but we do produce great TexMex & point guards.

And BBQ. Esp the beef. I see Chipotle as more it's own thing than Tex Mex or anything else. Just like the fresh grilled chicken/rice bowls. Moe's not as good to me.

completely over rated. My brothers talked it up so much and then I had it and it was ok, but not nearly as great as they made it out to be

I'm on board with that. I really liked it at first but then found Moe's then Qdoba. I think I DO like the burrito there a little bit better but it's all the other stuff I like better at its competitors. Not saying I won't eat there lol

I'll take the free, not over-salted chips at Moe's any day over chipotle.

I'm all about free chips! I'll even order the queso since the chips are free.

Just give me Taco Bell. Has anyone tried the dorito shell? Had my first last night. Very tasty.

In all honesty, Qdoba's chicken nachos are my favorite.

I had it a couple weeks ago and thought it was quite good as well. It's the perfect combination.

yeah, but it speaks volumes that the founder sold them it and then after 1,000 locations, bought it back because he didn't like that McDonalds was trying to lower the quality of the product.

The next time you are in Katy, give me a holler and we'll meet at a Freebirds. You'll wonder why anyone with a choice would ever go to Chipotle.

Taco in a bag is better. Take a small bag of actual Nacho Cheese Doritos, add taco meat, lettuce, a little sour cream, and some shredded cheese. Shake the bag (carefully!) and enjoy.

The Dorito shell was ok, but it didn't have the flavor the actual chips have. I'd rather have the Volcano taco, or the double-decker taco.

There's no way you can say Moe's is better! I used to think that because I pretty much hate anything that's trendy until it wins me over so I despised Chipotle but really their ingredients are night and day better than what Moe's uses.

I only get meat, rice, and cheese on my burrito. I prefer brown rice over white rice. Therefore, I like Moes better than Chipotle.

Plus free chips. C'mon.
