Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, a candidate for the Republican nomination for president, visited Liberty University during a stop in Lynchburg on Wednesday.
Chancellor Jerry Falwell Jr. said he and his wife met with Bachmann, founder of the Tea Party Caucus in the House of Representatives, about an hour after she was seen shaking hands with passengers at Lynchburg Regional Airport after arriving from a flight around 12:30 p.m.
