Perhaps the category most desperately seeking a new challenger. Need further evidence? Red Lobster has taken this the past few years rather handily. Red Lobster.

I refuse to vote in this category because I grew up on the bay and in Florida. Lynchburg wouldn't know real seafood if it walked up and smacked them in the face.

I grew up near the beach as well and that has always been my lament about Lynchburg.
Being here makes me miss Capt. George's on Laskin Rd...

I grew up living in the ocean, my diet consisting of only fish, and I assume that everybody in Lynchburg thinks Red Lobster is good.

Grew up on the coast, and was always shocked that a place like Lynchburg had such lame seafood offerings. Harbor Inn is a good value (my f-i-l and I get the feast for 2 all the time, and have a TON of leftovers), but Red Lobster is as close as I've found to decent seafood in town.
