Five Guys has captured this category every year since its inception. Can the national chain continue to fend off the local challengers? Longtime contender Myrts apparently is no longer in business.

And, sadly, 2/3s of the Weenie Stands in town are gone, with only the original one left under different ownership off of Memorial.

I think the reason Five Guys does so well every year is because its so close to campus...Cavalier is literally a hole in the wall place that youd only know was there if you were looking specifically for it (and then you still might not find it because of the lack of signage)

Bottom line, there really is not a good place to get a good burger in Lynchburg. Closest thing for me is Logan's. That's why I make my own.

I think we should add PokeJoes' burger to this list. It would give the category more competition. They advertise their burger as the best in Lynchburg. And it is very good.

OK, I thought PokeJoes died. Where are they?

I guess I need to go on BBO road more than once a year. Didn't even know Isabellas had opened over there.

The Five Guys run of dominance continues for another year.
