Work near the main entrance to campus?

The past few weeks Ive seen some construction vehicles and workers near the main entrance by ExtendedStay...anybody have any idea what they are doing?

AKA moving dirt where it's needed to level out the area for the road.

AND will provide a nice view of the campus driving on 460W
