I went to Riverview Park yesterday with a mixed experience. There is something awkward about hearing black women say "Girl you are so lucky to have that piece of ayas who will run with you in the park" to my friend and "See now I told you I could eat me some white meat."
So.....any suggestions?

Instead of running in that park, just run on Rivermont (towards Boonsboro, this is key!). That's the big thing to do over there. You get bonus points if you have a nice dog with you.

I fail to see your problem. Seems like you were highly complimented. Go with it.
Soon you too will be 40+, look like crap, feel like crap, laying on your couch eating Breyer's ice cream.

this. and start at the greek orthodox church and run the trail. or wyndhurst (if you can deal with the smell of xpedex and the candle factory-and the hills). or you can start at lowes on timberlake and run a good bit of the way up greenview and through the new neighborhood on greenview-good lights and sidewalks.

(1) Blackwater creek--paved and shaded, due to the woods; 14 miles one way (many side dirt trails)
(2) LU trails--we have 60 miles worth
(3) Peaks View Park--paved and dirt trails

I'm not necessarily the one who is promoting the move. Who wouldn't like being objectified as a delicious piece of fried chicken?

I have a treadmill and elliptical in my house. I enjoy watching TV of OTHER people running when I stand on them! Or I just Wii Active It

I still see no issue here.

I only run in the rain, but I agree with HMO about scenery in Wyndhurst. You could run circles around the block until your heart is content. Blackwater creek trails are nice also, but you may get some bugs as it warms up

My favorite are the people who join the gym, but only to use the locker room and run outside.

Depends...if you want to look like a marathon runner, the above suggestions are fine.
If you want the athletic, explosive look, you can do HIIT at a local school or park.
