For those of you old enough to remember the ravine steps, a new version of those have been added recently, in the same general location as the old ones.

Also, a large section of new sod has been added between the JFL and DeMoss, with about half more to go.

Looks like they're also improving a portion of Candler's Mtn Rd, including the addition of a sidewalk up to the Snowflex entrance.

And the much-delayed junction between Odd Fellows and 460 to, I believe, Top Ridge on the south side has started.

I also saw a semi truck load of trees come through the LU tunnel today. I'm hoping that's for the lawn between DeMoss and the library/science building.

I think it's safe to say, LU will have the best athletic facilities of any FCS school, once all these projects are completed. we will make most BSC school's facilities look like high schools.

I hope these new facilities pay huge dividends in recruiting...........(which they should).

It's supposed to. They're doing a ton of work on 460 right now, all the way past Falwell Airport, so I could be wrong that the junction is getting started.

Depends upon what you mean by "another entrance." There will be on & off ramps which will help people get to Odd Fellows. This will reduce traffic on Candler's Mtn. It will also access a new road (partially constructed now) which will go under the monogram (past the Natatorium, intramural fields, etc.). It connects to Candler's Mtn. near the Fairfield Inn (Wingate). At one point there was talk of a hotel, small shopping complex & chain restaurant to be built at that exit.
