Yes people have been there. I've seen lots of cars!

I haven't been there but a friend of mine said it was very good.

Paging HMO (who says he never eats at home)...

Food is average and they couldn't keep peoples orders straight. Hopefully it was just kinks being worked out time will tell.

HMO doesn't come around here no more.

Owned by the same guy who started Robin Alexanders downtown. Great guy, along with some good people managing the place. I'm sure that it will be great. The owner, Tony West, planned to create a restaurant experience similar to Sticks, a kebab restaurant in Cville and Richmond.

Hillcats food has been my menu just about every night and lunch has been at Vinny's (on Wards Road, really pro Liberty people there so trying to support)

Hillcats finish up in a few days so now that I know its open I'll be stopping by either this week or weekend. I hope I have better luck there then RA's


PS...tonight I actually got hungry around 10pm and opened up my fridge only to find 100 bottles of water, no food at all....freezer is empty. Sad, I dont even have a bag of chips or something.....life of a single male I guess, I really need to fix that I think.

If you plan on picking up a chick at Kroger (assuming it's not one of the cashiers or stock boys you're interested in), you need to have a baby with you, nothing is more effective.

And HMO, you're just in luck. I will have one available for rent somewhere around October 25th. Rates are negotiable

I went tonight. It was ok. Between my wife and I, I got to try the turkey and the steak, the thai noodles and the mac and cheese. While all of it was good, it wasn't great. Like I think I could have made that turkey. It's pretty pricey at 8-11 dollars for the "stik" meals when you consider the portion size. It's not that much food for $8. They had some flatbread sandwiches that looked good. But you guys are all Panera haters that think sandwiches are for chicks. There was a steady trickle of customers but considering they just opened and school just started, I would have expected it to be a lot busier. I kinda wonder what will happen when the curiosity dies down. I just don't see this working out.

Well keep in mind it's the owners of RA which isnt really known for it's portion size...in fact its the only place in town (that's not a small plate type) that I've gotten a full $18 dinner and had to go to McDonald's after to get a double cheese burger because I was hungry, and I'm a small guy who doesnt eat a lot!

Small portions....overpriced....food just not that good. Do yourself a favor and head up the hill to Hiabachi Grill...better food, all the food you want and not as pricey.

I was thinking about that. It's only like $3 more for a buffet in which I just get plate after plate of freshly hibachi'd meat and lo mein.

I thought it was the best chicken in town. It definitely is a small portion, higher priced place but that is nice for a change. Most restaurants in Lynchburg provide portions much larger than anyone should eat at one time. And the restaurants that do well here seem to provide unlimited food for very low prices. Lynchburg is a quantity over quality restaurant town. That is why it is the 8th most obese town in the nation, I guess. Nice to find a place that emphasizes quality over quantity but, sadly, I bet it won't survive around here.

Yes, I wish this town would get rid of the buffets.

It's not going to fail because this town is full of obese slobs. It's going to fail because it's completely average food priced 30% too high.
