Fall student numbers local colleges

Appears everyone had a decent year. Randolph had a BADLY needed larger class but is not over the hump yet. Good to have all these colleges in the area. It adds a lot. The locals need to discover them a bit more. Lots of good shows, plays, and sports to be seen at low cost.

Thanks for the link, Badger. I thought the comments from SBC were a bit surprising. I was under the impression they enjoyed their exclusivity.

LU has more Honors Program students than Randolph or Sweet Briar has total students. Study

As Randolph mentioned, you can be too small. I think 1000 is a good minimum. You need enough to have a diversity of classes each term and to pay the bills. It cost about the same to run a school with 600 as a 1000 and that's a lot of tuition money missed. You don't want to see the same faces every day.
