had at least a 10 year legacy going. I was at least somewhat aware of it (or in it for 4) from '96 to around '06. I assume it's awesomeness continued. It is now a girls dorm. This is a dark day in LU history.

The 71 flag needs to be flown at half mast.

I was in Dorm 25 my freshman & sophomore years. But I rarely can admit it publicly.

(as an office; didn't spend the night there).

According to the spirit rock...D8rm is still D8rm and they are probably still the most hated dorm on campus

fall 2003 until the spring of 05

5-2 my freshman year Fall 05-Spring06...then the dispersement. LU did a wonderful job of destroying some good relationships making all of us find new dorms. Met awesome people in my new dorm, but I regret that some of those freshman year relationships simply died when the dorm switched over to a girls dorm (for no given reason I ever heard). Not to mention, on 5-2, there were some smokin' hot girls in our sister dorm. 32-3, meh, not so much.

Well my dorm almost fell into what used to be the Ravine.

I remember walking out of 32-3 one day to see those SwordFighters Club nerds beating the crap out of each other on the open field next to the softball field, with those duct tape/foam/pvc pipe swords like they did every Saturday morning and all of sudden dorm (I think it was Seven or Eight?) showed up in full "300" attire and charged the field and beat the crap out of them. It was HILARIOUS!

For those who don't know what I'm talking about, it's even made it's way to YouTube...unfourtunately I don't think the "300" incident got filmed

I don't really know why everybody hates them because they were fairly insignificant the whole time I was there, but I hate them now because they seem to be a bunch of vandals. I see that stupid tag spray painted everywhere.

I was in 7-Up my Freshman year ('86-87) :

I was in 7-2 from fall '99 through spring '02. Good times. We had a few too many meetings with Dwayne Carson regarding our dorm's reputation around campus.

yeah, the campus pastor is normally pretty good about putting a stop to the culture of homosexuality before it spreads to other dorms.

does every dorm get the speech about how "bad" their reputation is? Because it seemed like that was a common trend when I lived on campus.
