LU Alum on Middle East Trip Experience

Seeing life through rose-colored glasses is not the way Alex Huddleston is choosing to live her life in America or abroad when traveling to the Middle East.

Returning to America with what she calls “an improved understanding of the conflict in the Middle East and a heart burdened for the need there,” Alex, a recent graduate from Liberty University with a degree in business marketing and a minor in sociology, called her two week experience in Arab culture a “revelation.”

The former Chattanooga resident now residing in Lynchburg, Va., worked as a campaign assistant at Light Ministries, the collegiate short term missions department which organizes and leads international mission trips for Liberty University students.
