Defending champion Firehouse Subs has been forced into a runoff by surprising challenger Macados. Can Big Mac douse the Firehouse?

Here's another poll that seems to remain split down the middle. A vote or two could be the deciding factor.

Frankly I am surprised Macados suddenly garnered support in this poll since it is not exactly a new kid on the block.

Which place do you prefer?

I went with macado's originallly and again here. And it's mainly because the other choices are weak and not that I like the mac that much

I voted for Macado's because they really know how to make a club sandwich: 3 slices of toasted bread, cut in quarters, and held together with toothpicks. And they have a variety of club sandwich meats, my favorite being one made with corned beef & pastrami.

I enjoy macado's food however it always seems to take forever in there. I'm usuallly not looking to spend 45mins to an hour to get a sandwich. Firehouse has great food and they bring it to you within 5mins.

I order a club sandwich all the time. And I'm not even a member, I don't know how I get away with it. "I like my sandwiches with three pieces of bread." "So do I." "Lets form a club then." "Okay, but we're gonna need more stipulations." "Yes we do." "OK... Instead of cutting it once, lets cut it again." "Yeah, four triangles." "And we will position them in a circle. And in the middle we will dump chips. Or potato salad." "Let me ask you a question, how do you feel about frilly toothpicks?" "I'm for 'em!" "Well, this club is formed. Spread the news on menus nationwide."

blwall, what is the source of your second quote? I'm guessing a movie that I haven't seen. In any event, I love it.

It more has the feel of a Jerry/George conversation.

Ehh....can't stand seinfeld, so you'll never see me quote from them.

The quote is from Mitch Hedberg.....quite possibly one of the best comedians, ever. Tragically, he was also an addict & therefore has no new material.
