Lynchburg, VA - A book written about understanding evangelicals, specifically those at Thomas Road Baptist Church, is in stores now.

Yale graduate Gina Welch went undercover for two years at Thomas Road Baptist Church to write In the Land of Believers.

Hmm, maybe I should write a book about my experiences...wonder if it would sell?

ha. She was there for 2 years. I bet she was pretty ticked off when Roose's book came out. Maybe I should go undercover as a pretentious elitest and write a book about why they feel the need to treat us like a pack of chimpanzees.

Personally, I'm more interested in this one than I ever was for Roose's.
