Pooring down rain here in Houston so I can barely see a streetlight. Not seeing what's so special in that pic. Anybody care to enlighten me?

On a somewhat related note, I am down with Google SkyMap.

That ring was the coolest thing I have ever seen in my life. It was pretty wild!

I have only seen that twice in my life. Both were here. I wonder if it doesn't happen up North.

From Rooster's link above:

It's an uncommon sight in our area.

It's weird, the first time I saw it was back in the early 2000's qhile at Liberty and last night was the second time seeing it while I was down here in Florida. My wife had the fire pit going for the first time since getting as a wedding gift and she was asking what caused it and felt like the man for knowing what it is from someone telling me at LU

Ice crystals? Seriously? That is real weird.

Great pic, SJ.

Saw this last night in Atlanta

Blue moon on New Years Eve. BLUE! Not really blue, but blue moon.

Try a lemon wedge along with the orange. It is delightful.
