Well everyone always says there is nothing to do in Lynchburg, and me and my friends end up being bored alot so can you guys post some stuff to do here. For us pretty much all we do is play basketball, go to the movies, and go on random sheets and 7/11 runs for slushees  ; but other than that we get pretty bored. Can you also give some date ideas for me and my girlfriend

There is just as little to do here as there is anywhere else short of a major city.

Does everyone realize that the only reason this thread exists is that young Dom wanted us all to know he has a girlfriend?

In that case, a real enjoyable activity to do in Lynchburg is make out with your girlfriend.

I love Peaks View. It's the only disc golf course in the area that allows you to feel good about yourself.

If your parents let you drive out of town, here are 2 nearby suggestions:

Virginia Safari Park in Natural Bridge: http://www.virginiasafaripark.com/
Hull's Drive-In in Lexington: http://www.hullsdrivein.com/

this is true, but it also depends on the friends you have. I live in chicago, and yes, there is alot less to do here, but there is also alot of times when i have more fun down here simply because of who im with, most stuff in big cities is expensive to do.

A cheap date is to play hide and seek in wal-mart.

And then when you find each other, you compare the pictures you've taken of the 'People of Walmart'.

Natural bridge also has a zoo that's about five miles from the safari park - it's a pretty solid zoo for something that is reasonably local.

I'm pretty sure that is incorrect. I remember an RD saying they got rid of that last year.

I had an RA try to write me up for excessive hugging or whatever........so I wrapped my arms around him & held on for more than 4 secs. Then I asked for his ID. He just smirked & walked away.

Watch college kids do the following in the snow :

1. try to kick the frozen snow in front of the car clear so they can pull out of a parking spot. Only to get hung up on it when they don't accelerate enough....genius!

2. Be too lazy to actually shovel your Honda Accord out and call a tow truck to pull you 6 feet out onto the plowed part for the street ( i saw a kid with Cali tags actually do this, pathetic). I watched as the tow truck driver looking confused asks and pointed....you really want me to move this just from here to here....

3. wait till after the sun goes down to try to clean your car off instead of, when it was sunny just a few hours ago, and break the shovel on the second scoop.

This is Frank Ricard, I'll be in the neighborhood later on, and I was wondering if maybe you wanted to get some frozen yogurt, or perhaps a whole meal of food, if that would be agreeable.
