There were always rumors the 4 years that I lived on campus that the dorms I stayed in weren't owned by LU...guess those ones were true afterall, lol.

I saw this article on liberty.edu last night. Didn't realize the property wasn't owned by LU, just like ATrain mentioned. I saw the title and I was like why do you need to buy back what you own? After I read it I was unconfused.

Yea, I heard back in 04 that they didn't own the land. I also heard that they wouldn't own the land for at least ten years. Obviously that wasn't true.

Is that the area where Doc Diner is located?

Actually that is the area where the first crop of dorms that went up on Campus East are located. I cant remember if that parking lot was put in at that time as well though
