This was one of Fumble's favorite non-sports related events: all the BBQ you can sample for only 10 bucks:

What's not like with BBQ in all forms and flavors? Wish I could join you.

I would strongly consider attending if I wasn't going out of town that weekend.

I would like one as well, but they are so expensive. I am doing just fine with my CharGriller....yea, I have to do more work to control temps and use more charcoal, but I just can not justify the price of the BGE.

It would really be great for overnight smokes, because I hear they are great at maintaining temps for such a long period of time. It would certainly allow me to get some more sleep!

And there is a good chance I will be up at Sedalia at some point on Saturday.

yeah when I was looking for a smoker, they looked to be the best. But there's just no way to justify how much more they are. They're not hundreds better.

BUMP

I've got an all day church commitment tomorrow, so I can't make it up to Sedalia, but I hope some FF's can go and give us a report. They start serving the 'que at high noon. It's a quick 30-minute drive from Lynchburg, just off of 501 North a little past Big Island. And it's all you can eat for 10-12 bucks.

I've got some friends going, but I won't be among them this year. It's depressing really.

Crap, I totally forgot about this. Coincidentally, I just threw a 13 pound butt in the smoker about an hour ago. Looks like I'll be having a BBQ festival of my own.
