Cant believe how dead this place is.
This is my first summer living on my own, my first summer in lynchburg. My friends just left yesterday.
This is not going to be fun, ive never been so bored out of my mind. What is there to do in this city during the summer? Anyone want to go golfing? Today would be a good day, most men have to be at home

Well...I like going shopping at the mall, if that helps.

Um, I use video games, the dollar theater and if all else fails, systematically and methodically going around and egging prof's houses....totally and 100% kidding.

i normally get a full-time job, normally at something I end up hating that makes me want to go home. so at nights and during the weekend, when I'm at home, it's really not that bad.

i spent one summer in lynchburg. stayed in a 3 bedroom apt with 6 guys. most of them worked at night and i worked during the day....it was nice.
my fiance lived in the same complex so i basically went over there but she worked at night alot too. i don't even remember what i did that summer....i no longer drank or smoke weed so i really don't know why i can't remember.
i do remember trying to understand cricket....i would come home after work, take a dump, take a shower, and then watch cricket...

There is zero to do in Lynchburg in the summer. I suggest finding some new TV shows to watch. Get a Y membership...the one in Wyndhurst is nice.

Played semi-pro football for 3 summers in the 'burg. Playing softball in two leagues this year. There are more things to do here than you think. What happens is, you get used to getting everybody together & school, & then going out. Most of the those students don't know a lot about Lynchburg. Just look online or in "The 'Burg"...you'll find plenty of things to do around the area.

enjoy the peace and quiet of not having 11k extra people in lynchburg (plus the 5k or so at LC, plus the 2k or so from RC, etc...)
*hmm, thought id edited my mis-spelling of "quiet" just after i'd posted... i guess not...*

5k at LC and 2k at RC? LC has 2500 students, graduate and undergraduate, commuter and residential. Randolph doesnt even have 600 students total.

The computer lab is certainly quiet and peaceful. The downside, though, is there hours have been greatly reduced.

yes, well the point is mainly the 11k at LU... not that i mind LC... the chicks are fairly cute and i happen to only live like 5 blocks from the place and drive by it everyday. wards rd is a lot easier to drive on after the middle of may or so... (until the HS kids get out of school...)

I'm staying really busy. If you are bored get a full time job, then get some friends. That should take care of you

While Sly's absence is understandable, I wouldn't have an excuse for missing.
Save me a seat, Cider!
