This is my buddy's solo project. He uses only some cheap computer software to record and mix and prepare all of his stuff (translate: its not professional by any means, and he's not a drummer, just a piano/guitarist).

Just wanted to get it out there, see what you guys thought. I will pass along anything constructive or encouraging to him, so feel free to be honest with what you think.

ask Knuckle how it is to have people be honest about people's music...I hear In the Red still has not recovered from the FF critics

He's not going to read FF.

I'm just going to give him the feedback that's worth listening to.

Which i expect to be maybe one or two people.

SSSHhhhhh, don't ask Knuckle, that's a no-no. You don't want to get a kind-but-threatening PM requesting your silence, do you?

Listened to the first two strums of the acoustic guitar on the first track and turned it off.

Sounded like the start of a hundred other songs I've heard a hundred other guys in college write.

Lost all interest after that.

I kinda felt the same thing, it lacked anything "different". He's really limited by his resources at this point tho.
