A couple of years ago I would've definitely agreed on Sport Management. They're making it harder though. Some of the stuff is just stupid hard and some of it is legit hard.

I know Martin is making it harder...I'd still like to find one that's easier though

I'm guessing Bio-Chemistry, Engineering, Nursing, and...English.

from what i hear nursing may be the toughest.
easiest... smgt or maybe coms?

yeah, nursing always sounded ridiculous to me. I would imagine comms is pretty easy although I only took the one required course so I can't say for sure.

a lot of comms majors i know have few tests and quizzes. they write papers and make presentations. that sounds easy to me... might be wrong though.

I've heard the same thing about coms.

as a coms major, I can tell you its really freaking hard... well not really. although, to be fair, my MBA was MUCH easier than my coms undergrad degree...sooo.... you decide.
I think nursing would be the hardest. It pretty much includes bio & chem in it. I'm not sure there's an easy way around any of those. In COMS I could just write or create my way out of tough spots. then again, there's some people that could do that to save their lives, and several of them that i know went the bio and/or chem route. go figure.

i was a coms major back in the day....it was pretty easy. However every business and SMGT guy thought they could do presentations and when i took "history of sport" as an elective it was eye opening. I watched some smart people who were some of the worst presenters/public speakers ive ever seen. Purple Haize was the teacher haha.

I think you can go through Religion & COMS and pick your easiest specialization; most difficult one would be finance

I get to meet pretty much the entire Senior class of LU nursing students every year at work for part of their clinical rotation, and based on what they tell me the work load is brutal. Keep in mind that they are earning an RN certification, (which usually takes 2 years by itself) and a bachelor's degree all at the same time.

Yeah, that was one of those classes where I felt bad answering all of the teacher's questions, but if he's asking things like 'what decade was the American Civil War' and the students are getting it wrong, I had to chime in.

lol...yes, not knowing answers like what decade was the US civil war gives you pause to wonder what our government schools are teaching kids these days. (or more to the point... NOT teaching them)

Probably Yankee schools: no one up there cares about the War Between the States (aka, the War of Northern Aggression).

Id tend to agree that COMS can be one of the easier majors (speaking as a COMS major myself) and Id certainly say that Nursing would be the hardest. I have a few friends who are nursing majors (or have applied to the program) and they have all said its pretty difficult.

everytime i talk to someone who majors in sport management, rather it's LC, LU, any other school, the consensus is that sport management is an easy major. same goes with communications...

Yeah, I mean the nerve. The South tries to preserve their states' rights and the North attacks...
and yes, i'd like to make BJ exhibit A that coms isn't as easy as it looks...

COMS isn't the toughest, but its definitely not the easiest. I would say Nursing/Engineering and if we want to count graduate studies, Law. Easiest: FACS
