I had someone text me saying they heard one of the head's of Google's wife (now separated) lives in Forest. I don't believe it but just wanted to see if anyone else has heard anything that.

you all know my obsession over Google so yes this is interesting to me!

i imagine she would have alot of money. Forest is nice. But if I had alot of money, most likely I would not choose to live in forest. Even if your going the whole "she wants to be far away from anything google and be left alone" there are better places to hide

I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that you can now get Google Street View for areas of Forest.

At Smith Mountain Lake? I definitely believe it. Half the drivers in Nascar have houses on Lake Norman. Smith Mountain Lake is much nicer.

There's been rumors for years that Oprah has a house in the Winston-Salem area. I know for a fact that the guys from the Blues Brothers do. They still get together and play music.

oh. I was also going to add that Dan Akroyd and the Belushi brothers both grew up in the area my parents live in now. Alot of the scenes from the movie are from the town I live in. If you watch the movie, the scene where they are going around with the megaphone on their car advertising for their concert, they pass the beach and there is a huge metal floating slide, thats like a block from my house, and that beach/lake is not as pleasant as it looks in the movie, but I still go wakeboarding there all the time
