bear would be so cool. But only if he uses his urine in an interesting way.

When is the last time LU has not had either an entertainer or politician at graduation. For the most part, is that not what most universities do for speakers?

We've had a lot of preachers as well over the years. Not sure who or when the last one was.

Didn't we have Franklin Graham a few years ago?
Back in the day, we were heavy big time preachers and politicians. Of course Ollie North didn't fit into either category even though he was certainly political.

Why can't we get someone from Liberty who has been successful at what he or she does that is not a preacher?
LC did that in '07

We do that at convo on a semi-regular basis. But graduations typically are more for external splash than the grads themselves.
I admit I used to be a bit disappointed that I could never get a convo invite back when I was in my television days. The work I do these days wouldn't be as scintillating to 18- to 22-year-olds.

you might want to do a little research before you make statement like that. over the last few years, the gators, the buckeyes and penn st. are running neck and neck with off the field trouble.

I doubt he could do it in-season...but I would love to see JOSH HAMILTON come and offer his testimony as graduation.

Since BJ has been here the longest, it would be nice if he could help pick the graduation speaker.
