Bob Barr to speak at Lynchburg College

Lynchburg College will host the Libertarian nominee in this year's presidential race.
Bob Barr will speak at LC's Schewel Hall on Monday, Oct. 13 from from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

I don't know how this will work considering LC is a bunch of lefties. What could they possibly agree with besides the legalization of mary jane?

you'd be surprised how many conservatives are on this campus - all those rich kids from up north tend to lean to the right since their parents are a bunch of well to do business folk and what not...
the libertarian candidate came to LC 4 years ago as well and it turned out to be a fairly successful event. besides, it's not about bringing in people who agree with what you perceive as everyone else agrees with, it's about bringing in a presidential candidate who brings different view points to the table. that's called educating.

I do wish that every candidate that has their name on the ballots in enough states to theoretically be elected as president should get a chance to participate in the National Televised Debates.
I think Bobb Barr, and Ralph Nadar, and Ron Paul, and some others got together and made this statement at a press release. I tend to agree with them.
When Ross Perot participated in the debates, he ended up with about 19 percent of the votes.

He is best known for being one of the leaders in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton.
I'm glad they added that b/c if they didnt I would have had to do a Wiki search...
